Our Work

A 28 day programme to help you quit smoking

Our Creative Director Liam Faulkner worked at Flipside Group to create the user experience and design for an NHS tailored clinical advice app.

Created for those who want to stop smoking, the NHS Quit Smoking app is a 28 day programme that puts practical support, encouragement, and tailored clinical advice in the palm of your hand.

The evidence suggests you are 5 times more likely to quit for good if you stay smoke free for 28 days, with this in mind this app will help you on your own personal journey to quit.

Smoke Free is part of a suite of products created by the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID).

Crafting a remarkable app hinges on grasping the essentials of user needs. To immerse ourselves in the user experience, we engaged in conversations with users of similar apps to uncover their core motivations. By developing user personas that embody the diverse user base, we gain insights into their viewpoints, enabling us to design an app that resonates with them. Armed with a deep understanding of user preferences and bolstered by our two decades of expertise, we delineate the app's pivotal features, architecture, and meticulously chart out the user journey.

We have subsequently helped create updates to fine-tune and better tailor the app to ongoing scientific and health findings.

The NHS Quit Smoking app is available to download from the Apple App Store and Google Play.
